Introduction to Music Therapy, led by Cayla Mendoza, offers tailored therapy for classical musicians. Our approach uniquely integrates classical music as a tool for therapy and self-therapy, providing support for musicians' mental well-being while addressing the specific demands of their profession.
Based in Los Angeles, California, Cayla F. Mendoza is pursuing a multifaceted educational journey, simultaneously studying Music Therapy and Psychology while honing her skills as a violinist at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. She currently studies with world-renowned violinist and conductor of the Henry Mancini Institute, Scott Flavin. Cayla has performed in masterclasses with Dr. Ambroise Aubrun, Dr. Chan Ho Yun, Dr. Hal Grossman, Linda Rose, and Chad Hoopes. She has performed at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the Dolby Theatre, Zipper Concert Hall, Adrienne Arsht Center, Skirball Cultural Center, and the Staples Center, now named the Crypto.com Arena, for the 62nd Grammys.
