Veronica DeJesus demonstrates how to make your own handmade indigenous instrument with nothing more than wood and strings. On October 26th, Artists Theodore Hom and Veronica DeJesus led a workshop in collaboration with NAMI (the National Alliance On Mental Illness). This video is a requested demonstration for easy at-home access!
Mindclef strives to acknowledge and address mental health challenges in classical music, emphasizing how the art can both cause and alleviate such issues. Our goal is to provide professional advice to musicians, spread the love of music worldwide, and seek to reshape classical music's historical narrative.
Here we have interviews that we at the Mindclef team have made. These interviews are more like conversations where we talk about a variety of different topics, which can be found on our official youtube channel.
We see the lack of mental health resources in the music community and strive to make a change. Here you will find research articles and playlists that we hope will shine a light on musicians' mental health, as well as provide healing through music
Want to be a part of the change? Send in your own stories, playlists, and video experiences to help us expand on our mission: providing a safe space for conversation about mental health for classical musicians
Sharing your story with Mindclef offers a platform to make a meaningful impact, inspire others, and contribute to the vibrant music community while expanding your own reach and opportunities in the field. Click here to learn more!
